This IV Therapy and Injection Skills Certification course, meeting the Florida State Board of Nursing requirements as well as other Boards, and is designed for LPNs, RNs, ARNPs, Graduate Nurses, Medical Assistants, and healthcare professionals involved in IV Therapy and injection. It's suitable for refreshing skills or for those new to the field. Course Features: IV Therapy 30h: Covers patient care for IV therapy, venous system, fluid/electrolyte balance, peripheral veins, venipuncture, catheter use, IV therapies, complications, IV equipment, and administration of IV solutions, medications, parenteral nutrition, and blood transfusions. It includes theory and hands-on practice. Injection Skills: Classroom lectures, video presentations, and hands-on training in injection techniques, including vial and ampule preparation, insulin administration, and various injection methods. It also covers needle gauge/size selection, disposal, and infection control. Post-completion, credits are submitted to CE Broker for license renewal. All IV therapy and injection supplies are provided, and immediate IV THERAPY 30 HR certification course review is available after sign-in. Injections will be in the live class session.
