PURPOSE
The purpose of this course is to educate and reinforce the knowledge of nurses; ARNP, RN, LPN, CNA, Therapists, and other Health care professionals who are working within the health care environment, as well as other students/ individuals regarding implicit bias, review various sources of bias, different forms of bias, situations of racism, prejudice, and techniques to assist with preventing implicit bias among the healthcare professionals.
Objectives:
At the conclusion of this course, the participants will be able to:
