Course #20-757504 This course offers a comprehensive review of tracheostomy care for adults, infants, and children, covering endotracheal tube care, inner cannula changes, tracheostomy collar/ties, and ventilator patient care. It also includes respiratory care procedures such as airway maintenance, oxygen delivery and management, flow rates, equipment usage, nasal cannula and face mask application, nebulizer treatments, and various suctioning techniques. Approved for nurses (LPN, RN, ARNP, Graduate Nurses), Respiratory Therapists (Critical/Non-Critical Care, Certified, Registered), Medical Assistants, and individuals seeking skill refreshment or updates after a clinical hiatus. OBJECTIVES – Participants will be able to 1. Describe how to maintain the patient’s airway, care for patients on a ventilator, 2. Discuss oxygen delivery and management 3. Discuss oxygen flow rates and equipment 4. Describe the procedures for application of nasal cannula/ face mask application 5. Demonstrate how to perform nebulizer treatment 6.
