This course reviews regulations, policies, and guidelines in Nursing Home/long-term care settings, targeting nurses (ARNP, RN, LPN), therapists, CNAs, and others in long-term care, plus those aspiring to work in this environment. It covers residents' basic rights, measures to uphold these rights, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) for privacy and confidentiality, and guidelines for proper documentation and legal aspects.
