Training includes classroom lectures, video demonstrations, and hands-on practice in venipuncture techniques and blood draw, covering tourniquet application, vein selection, and drawing blood using vacutainer, butterfly, and syringe methods on manikins. The course also focuses on safely delivering and managing intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal, and z-track injections, teaching needle gauge/size selection, site identification, needle disposal, and infection control.
