This course focuses on enhancing communication skills for healthcare professionals, including Nurses (LPN, RN, ARNP), Therapists, Occupational Therapists, CNAs, HHAs, and other related professionals and students. It aims to improve workplace communication and interactions with cognitively impaired clients. Content: Overview of effective communication principles. Strategies to address and manage communication issues in the workplace. Techniques for effective interaction with cognitively impaired clients/patients. Exploration of different forms of communication. Understanding the impact of ineffective communication. Integration of effective interpersonal skills in daily decision-making.
