This course equips healthcare professionals with Phlebotomy skills, covering its purposes, the integumentary system's relevance, the vascular system, legal/professional standards, infection control, and handling venipuncture complications. Training includes classroom lectures, clinical instruction, and hands-on venipuncture techniques, with practice on manikins using vacutainer, butterfly, and syringe methods. Ideal for LPNs, RNs, new graduates, and approved for all Nurses (LPN, RN, ARNP, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Graduate Nurses, Midwife, RT), Medical Assistants, healthcare and medical students seeking to refresh or learn new skills. The course duration is a 4-hour classroom session. 1. Study the PHLEBOTOMY course content, 2. Attend the skills class "hands-on -practice" / competency skills check session & complete the examination at the end of class, 3. There is a Phlebotomy practice exam available, that can be done before attending class session; practice until you are confident.
