NHA is widely recognized in the State of Florida; therefore you can select a testing site in your location after you have completed the examination prep course (see more info below). This course is designed for Medical Assistants to regain confidence in their Administrative and Clinical skills and prepare for certification exams. The course includes both online reviews and classroom practice sessions, covering patient assessment, vital signs, medication administration, injections, IV therapy, Phlebotomy, EKG, respiratory treatments, oxygen administration, and human body systems. Program Structure Duration: 3 weeks. Weeks 1 & 2: Study course content online, available for print or download to a computer or tablet. Week 3: Attend 1 required class session for review & practice. Admission Requirements: Minimum age of 18. High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Completed a medical assistant training or education program within the last 5 years OR 1 year of supervised work experience in a medical assisting field within the last 3 years; or 2 years of supervised work experience in a medical assisting field within the last 5 years.
